THE LAUNCHING OFTHE NEW VICTORIAN HOLDERNESS LEAFLET

Come and visit our display and view our new leaflet, Victorian Holderness. The leaflet explores all aspects of Victorian life, from transport to tourism and worship to work. Find out more about the people of Victorian Holderness like Mr Josph Gibson and what he was doing on Sunk Island.
LORE AND LEGEND LAUNCH
The Lore and Legend leaflet was officially launched in November 2007.The Hidden Holderness group were delighted to have the leaflet launched by Mr Richard Stead. It was also an opportunity for Larry Malkin to wear several hats but also enthrall the gathering with tales of ghosts and strange events that have entered into the folklore of Holderness. The new leaflet is available from tourist information centres.
UPDATED MILITARY HISTORY LEAFLET
The Hidden Holderness group have recently updated the popular military history leaflet. It now contains information on RAF Holmpton. The underground bunker that was a control centre during the cold war. The updated leaflet is now available through tourist information centres and othe local venues.
REPRINT OF LOST VILLAGES LEAFLET
Due to high demand The Hidden Holderness group have had the Lost Villages leaflet reprinted. The Lost Villages leaflet was the first leaflet to be published by the group. The new bigger version of the leaflet has an updated map of the villages that have been lost to the North Sea and the Humber. It also contains new information on the various pieces of interpretation art work that can be seen on the central promenade in Withernsea and other pieces in and around South East Holderness. All of the leaflets are available through tourist information centres and other local venues.
